Belinda Murrell and Kate Forsyth are sisters. They are also writers.
They both started writing when they were quite young and now between them have published over 70 books.
They also come from pretty serious literary ancestry in Australia. Their great-great-great-great-grandmother, Charlotte Waring Atkinson, wrote the first children’s book published in Australia.
Belinda Murrell, the older sister, writes books for children and teen readers, one of her novels is Pippa’s Island (Penguin) and Kate Forsyth writes historical and fantasy fiction for children, teens and adults, her novels include Beauty in Thorns (Penguin).
