When we put the call out earlier this year for Wb40’s Top 10 Women To Watch 2022, we were blown away to see so many incredible women being nominated, either by others, or, even more brilliantly, self-nominating! Women supporting women. Women backing themselves. That's our mantra after all!
We knew there was a huge gap in business magazines acknowledging women 40, 50, 60 and beyond who are changing the world, both in business and in their communities. So many amazing women who were flying under the radar, or simply not getting the accolades they deserved.
The Wb40 Platform launched in 2020 and it's no secret that covid left an extraordinary mark on women. The weight of the emotional load was real and heavy.
Within the pages of this magazine are the Top 10 Women to Watch, chosen from over 150 deserving nominees. Choosing the top Ten was not an easy task.
How brilliant to see ten diverse women, all doing great things, who embodied the ethos of Wb40 - Women Beyond Forty. Helping other women to rise, heal, gain opportunities, succeed, or be welcomed into communities. Change makers, rule breakers.
As Wb40 In Business evolves, we will continue to introduce you to more women who are shaking the tree, and changing the way we think of women who are over the age of forty.
Our Top 10 Women all walk different paths – a coastal Doctor, a Tech guru, an perimenopause innovator, a Disabled model, a PR Guru, a Campaigner for dignity, a Television personality, a Columbian powerhouse, a promoter of small businesses and a brave mumma.
We are enormously proud to introduce you to these Ten Fierce and Fabulous women over Forty who have made a huge impact in the worlds they live in, and beyond, proving that age will not hold them back.
